 Introduction to Adjectives

🔹 What is an Adjective?

An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun. It tells us more about the quality, quantity, number, or state of the noun.

📌 Examples:

  • She is a brilliant student. (quality)

  • We have three dogs. (number)

  • I ate some rice. (quantity)


 Types of Adjectives

🔹 1. Adjective of Quality

Describes the nature or quality of a noun.

  • e.g. tall, short, honest, brave

Tells the amount or quantity of something (uncountable nouns).

  • e.g. much, some, little

🔹 3. Adjective of Number

Tells the number or order of the noun.
